Job description

We're hiring a BAR & RESTAURANT FLOOR SUPERVISOR for immediate start.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum 2-3 years supervisory or senior floor experience in a high-volume, fast-paced bar / restaurant environment (ideally Irish pub / gastropub or similar busy tourist venue), with proven ability to lead a team during peak service periods
- Proven leadership and people management skills - able to motivate, direct, and support a team of servers, bartenders, and floor staff while maintaining a positive, friendly atmosphere in line with Dingle's famous Irish hospitality
- Excellent ability to thrive under pressure in a very busy setting - must stay calm, make quick decisions, prioritise tasks, and keep service flowing smoothly during peak tourist seasons, weekends, live music nights, and big sports events
- Strong organisational and communication skills for customer bookings and event management
- Hands-on floor presence and service expertise - expected to be actively on the floor during service, assisting with table service, expediting orders, handling guest queries / complaints, and jumping in behind the bar when needed to maintain high standards of food & drink quality and speed
- Full knowledge of Irish licensing laws, food safety (HACCP), and health & safety regulations together with a valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) qualification (or willingness to obtain one quickly), ensuring full compliance at all times in a licensed premises serving alcohol, food, and large groups
