Job description
We are an 18 Hole Championship Links facility in the Southwest of Ireland with a teaching academy that includes a 6-hole Par 3 course and Indoor Golf Studio featuring Trackman and Sam Putt Lab. The club has a membership of circa 1200 and an extremely strong international tourist business making it a very busy club.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible Qualified PGA Professional to join our friendly Professional team.
Main duties include:
- Drive retail golf sales in our Pro Shop stocked with all the top brands in the golf industry,
provide golf tuition to our members, including team coaching and our junior section
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong interpersonal skills - able to maintain a congenial rapport in all dealings with a variety of people
- Possess business acumen - focus on customer service excellence, awareness of importance of building member and client relationships, be passionate about teaching golf to all ages and abilities, be interested in retailing, in touch with trends in golf equipment and sports fashion
