Job description
Working alongside the Head Chef in the preparation of meals and general running of the kitchen ensuring that all guidelines are adhered to; your duties will include:
- Ensuring preparation and presentation of all menu items to the highest standards
- Assist the Head Chef with overall running of kitchen
- Take direction from management and assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards
- Follow all HACCP regulations at all times
- Work well with all kitchen staff in observing appropriate standards of hygiene during food preparation and storage
- Liaising with local suppliers
- Liaising with bar and wait staff
