Job description

- This is a key role within the parts department and the position will focus on a number of different duties including but not limited to the following

Main duties will involve:
- Accurate recording of stock into and out of our dealer management system ensuring accuracy of deliveries from suppliers
- Maintaining and assisting with stock control throughout the department
- Assist technicians by looking up and providing parts needed for vehicle repair
- Supplying accurate and detailed parts quotations to our internal departments, retail and trade customers alongside dealing with any inquiries we receive by telephone, email, or face to face
- Identifying, locating, invoicing, issuing parts and receiving payment for parts issued to customers and other departments using our dealer management system
- Assisting with all aspects of parts administration
- Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time and completing the applicable record keeping
- Other ad hoc duties commensurate with the position when required

Skills and qualifications:
- Relevant parts experience in a similar role while not essential would be an advantage
- A reasonable level of computer literacy is desirable
- Punctual, reliable and must be confident with telephone communication and possess a polite and professional manner at all times
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Possess strong organisational skills and an ability to structure workload efficiently
- Be able to work as part of a team whilst also possessing the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
- A full and clean driving licence
- Provide excellent customer service and always represent the company in a positive and professionally manner
