Job description
- The main responsibilities will be diagnosing and repairing faults and breakdowns on heavy plant machinery
- Planned/scheduled maintenance will also be completed on and off site
- As the fitter you will service and repair our full range of plant equipment, maintaining the quality, safety, reliability and availability of stock
Job responsibilities:
- Service and repair of large and small petrol and diesel engines
- Ensure service records are maintained and updated
- Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at work at all times
Experience/Knowledge/Skills required/Hours of work:
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and electrics required
- Manual handling awareness
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in a similar industry
- Ability to work as a team and under on initiative
- Self-motivated
- Basic computer knowledge
- English language - preferred
