Job description

- The caretaker will be responsible for the maintenance, presentation and security of the school buildings and site
- The position is subject to Garda Vetting

Duties include:
- As an approved key holder he/she will be responsible for opening and closing of the building
- Regular monitoring/repair/cleaning/painting of premises
- Making safe any health and safety risks
- Undertake general porterage duties - moving furniture for the setting up of classrooms and hall for classes etc
- Must be capable for working on own initiative and have good communication skills
- Be professionally confidential and follow school child protection procedures
