Job description
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper financial records in the company's accounting system Big Red Book for the Tralee operation and also for our other operations in Dublin
- Maintain relevant Excel spreadsheets to track the billing to customers and the claiming of the various government grants
- Month end P&L preparation, balance sheet reporting and reconciliation, cash flow forecasting
- Produce monthly KPIs on performance to the Managing Director
- Assist the Managing Director in compiling Annual Budgets and track actual performance against budget monthly
- Reconcile credit card transactions weekly
- Various operational analytical reporting
- Manage banking and finance arrangements
- Perform Bank Reconciliations for all Bank Accounts
Other Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process efficiencies in the time sheet and payroll processes
- Assist in the improvement of financial modeling to improve metrics and provide operatins with better information to manage the business
- Implement consistency in the accounting process between all of the different businesses
Education / Professional Qualifications:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician
Skills / Experience:
- A strong technical accounting background
- Good analytical skills and strong MS Excel capability
- Strong on reporting systems and processes
- Excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills,excellent presentation skills, ability to work productively with all levels in the organization, time management skills and flow through
- Team player, flexible
