Job description

- Motor industry experience desirable but not essential
- Passion and enthusiasm for the motor industry is highly desirable
- Full clean drivers license
- Attention to detail and ability to focus on the task
- Motor trade product knowledge is desirable but not essential
- IT literacy is essential
- Demonstrate motivation, teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Able to record accurately all relevant details
- An ability to absorb and understand technical data and explain it to our customers as required

Role Purpose:
- To deal with customer requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner ensuring a customer centric approach
- Organise and schedule the workflow through our service department to ensure efficient utilisation of resources and capacity
- To carry out customer follow up and prospecting activities to increase the volume of work within our service department
- Work closely with our parts department and partake in daily meetings to promote good communication

Service Adviser Key Duties:
- To make customer bookings and plan customer arrival times, enter details regarding customer details, billing, payment and any other relevant details
- Check for recalls
- Load the workshop accurately using agreed standard times
- Deal with customers in a courteous, efficient and considerate manner
